Brand Identity

Collectie is a Brighton based interior design consultancy. The owner was looking for a graphical image to represent the business that would reflect their love for both minimalist furniture & art.

The client did not want to specify whether she thought the end result should be a ‘mark’, ‘shape’, ‘logo’, motif or all of the above. So in the spirit of exploration we decided to keep the brief wide open which turned this project into a labour of love for the both of us.

The breakthrough design moment came from a conversation we were having around our mutual appreciation for stripped back objects and imagery - We shifted our perceptions to see that the letters of the company name can all be punched neatly out of a circle shape.

The resulting image doubles up as both the logotype and emblem for the business.
