Integrated Ad Campaign - Head Of Motion
The Brief :
Create an integrated ad campaign to launch Giffgaff, the O2-backed community-run mobile phone network.
The Idea :
"The Man", an anonymous figure who enjoys a lavish lifestyle at your expense.
For the digital work on the campaign, we brought the brand to life, delivering eye catching motion across a host of digital outputs.
DEP / LED / Transvision
All animation was produced in-house by our small team of developers and motion designers.
We wanted the movement of the pixels to look like they were a growing organism or infection. So animated their growth on the timeline in Flash, frame to frame tweaking as we went.
Working in this way gave us the most flexibility to make changes on the fly also and enabled us to keep the movement of the animated dots as tight as we needed to the footage for each of the clips.
